Massage Therapy with a Mission • Crewkerne •

Are you living with pain that’s been increasing or won’t go away? Whether it’s an old injury, the daily strain of work, or a chronic medical condition my practice specialises in persistent issues.

Each tailored treatment uses an intuitive blend of massage disciplines integrating deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release and Thai yoga techniques to address the symptoms contributing to your discomfort.

Reducing chronic pain levels starts with introducing safety into the nervous system. In bodywork, this is done through trust (the relationship with your therapist) and slow, consistent touch, alongside steady, responsive movement. Only then will the body allow room for change, challenge, and deeper work.

Deep tissue work honours layering. When an area softens, we can lean in further to address the deep-seated tension that has developed as an adaptive response to:

• How you use your body and daily habits •

• Workload and physical demands •

• Structural dependencies •

• Emotional stress and protection •

Contrary to modern living, this process takes time. The body works to its own timetable, not the mind’s agenda. I provide intentional, responsive bodywork rather than following standardised sequences, an approach clients find deeply relieving. Because of this, I choose to narrow the scope of our time together, focusing deeply on a specific area rather than rushing through a general routine.

Willing your body into submission can work, but only for so long. People reach out to me when that approach no longer serves them; when it’s time to stop fighting the body, and start listening to it.

Ready to understand how massage can shift your relationship with pain?

Typically, I work with these types of clients

The "Daily Grind" Offset

Where everyday activities: manual labour, desk working, commuting, hobbies, parenting little ones, cause mounting tension. Counteracting the demands of physical, repetitive, habitual motions and accompanying mental stress.
I provide sensitive touch and a way forward to those living with the everyday impacts of persistent conditions like fibromyalgia, sciatica, scoliosis, endometriosis, arthritis etc. Working with your symptoms without aggravating them.

Injury Legacy

For the old traumas and flare-ups that never quite went away. If a previous injury is still dictating how you move or causing you grief years later, we work to improve the area, its compensations and challenge restrictive holding patterns.

Is this the right fit for you?

My approach is highly effective, but it isn’t for everyone. My practice is likely NOT what you’re looking for if:

In Focus

Beyond Massage: Craniomandibular Therapy

Do you suffer from persistent migraines, jaw clicking, or the frustration of tinnitus? Often, these symptoms are interconnected through the delicate structures of the head, neck, and jaw. Using slow, intentional techniques and intra-oral work, I target deep-seated tension that traditional massage often overlooks.
