Massage Therapy with a Mission • Crewkerne •
Are you living with pain that’s been increasing or won’t go away? Whether it’s an old injury, the daily strain of work, or a chronic medical condition, my practice specialises in persistent issues.
I provide intentional, responsive bodywork rather than following standardised sequences. Each tailored treatment uses an intuitive blend of massage disciplines integrating deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, and Thai yoga techniques to address the symptoms contributing to your discomfort.
Reducing chronic pain levels starts with introducing safety into the nervous system. In bodywork, this is done through trust (the relationship with your therapist) and slow, consistent touch, alongside steady, soothing motion. Only then will the body allow room for change, challenge, and deeper work.
Deep tissue work honours layering. When an area softens, we can lean in further to address the deep-seated tension that has developed as an adaptive response to:
• How you use your body and daily habits •
• Load and physical demands •
• Anatomical variations •
• Emotional stress and protection •
• Tissue damage & inflammation •
In contrast to modern living, this process takes time. The body works to its own timetable, not the mind’s agenda. Because of this, I choose to narrow the scope of our time together, focusing specifically on an area rather than rushing through a general routine, an approach clients find deeply relieving.
Willing your body into submission can work, but only for so long. People reach out to me when that approach no longer serves them; when it’s time to stop fighting the body, and start listening to it.
Typically, I work with these types of clients
